All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC) will organise a cultural campaign on August 28 and 29 in Nalgonda district on “anti-working class policies being pursued by the Centre and State governments”.Speaking at a meeting of RTC workers organised in Makdhum Bhavan here, AITUC district general secretary Palla Devendar Reddy said that the BJP government at the Centre was changing laws to undermine rights of workers. He alleged the Centre was resorting to such actions only for the benefit of the corporate sector in the country. He said that the Centre was withdrawing the investments in public sector units and taking steps for their privatisation. He urged the government for implementation of equal wage for equal work as per the verdict of the Supreme Court.

He said a ‘kala jatha’ of AITUC, which was started on August 2, would reach Nalgonda on August 28. A meeting would also be conducted at Clock Tower Centre in Nalgonda at 2 pm on August 28.
