Small changes in tomorrow's exam timing for Mandal Planning Officers

The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has made elaborate arrangements for the conduct of the written examination for the post of Mandal Planning and Statistical Officer/Assistant Statistical Officer on September 3, besides rescheduling the exam to start at 11 am, instead of the earlier announced time of 10 am.A total of 92,600 candidates have registered for the optical mark recognition based examination, which will be held at 154 test centres in seven districts. 


The PSC had earlier notified 481 vacancies of Mandal Planning and Statistical Officer/Assistant Statistical Officer. The PSC in a press release on Saturday said keeping in view the traffic and transportation problems and to make sure candidates reach examination centre on time, the Commission has re-scheduled the exam from 10 am to 11 am.


The Paper-I comprising General studies and abilities will be held from 11 am to 1.30 pm whereas Paper-II (Statistics) will be from 3 pm to 5.30 pm. The Collectors have completed all arrangements for the examination, the PSC said and added that chief superintendents, liaison officers and special squads, have been constituted besides establishing a command centre at its office to monitor the conduct of exam.
