SI suspended for beating wife

Kothagudem: North Zone Inspector General of Police (IGP) Y Nagi Reddy has issued orders placing the services of Manugur sub-inspector of police S Jitender.In a late evening development on Saturday the IG ordered the suspension of the SI on disciplinary grounds in view of the SI’s recent outrageous act wherein he beaten up his wife and mother-in-law. 

It may be recalled that a video in which the SI seen severely beating up his wife Shajahan Parveen and mother-in-law Tahera went viral on social media and television news channels on Thursday.After the incident came to light the SI was attached to OSD office at Kothagudem while Manugur police filed an FIR against him under IPC sections 498A and 323.
