Twin bomb blasts case: NIA court convicted two persons

A special National Investigation Agency (NIA) court in Hyderabad has convicted two persons in Hyderabad twin bomb blasts that took place on August 25, 2007. The two convicted are Aneeq Shafeeq Sayeed and Ismail Chaudhary. After 11 long years, the Court has announced the verdict. However, the quantum of the punishment will be announced on Monday. On August 25, 2007, two blasts had occurred at Gokul Chat eatery in Koti and the laser show auditorium at Lumbini Park in which 32 people were killed, 10 lost their lives and more than 50 were injured.
