Warangal Urban: Clearing the air over the conduct of Kakatiya Ustavam, Warangal West MLA Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar has said that Orugallu Kalav Vaibhavam and Kakatiya Ustavam are two different festivals that State government plans to organise. They also have plans to conduct the Kakatiya festival.

Though the Orugallu Kala Vaibhavam is confined to only Warangal, the Kakatiya Ustavam is meant for people of the erstwhile Kakatiya kingdom,” he added.

Alleging that the rulers of the united Andhra Pradesh have not even allotted 300 yards of land to construct Kaloji memorial, Vinay Bhaskar said that CM KCR had promised to allot the land for the Kaloji memorial before the formation of the Telangana State itself and fulfilled his promise by allotting the land after becoming the Chief Minister.Noted Telugu writer and Kendra Sahitya Akademi award recipient Dr Ampasayya Naveen has also thanked Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for allotting Rs 50 crore for the construction of the Kaloji Kalak Shetram in 5.5 acres of land at the Hayagreeva Chary grounds in the central location of the city. He said that the Kakatiya Festival can be celebrated on the lines of Konark festival.

TSTDC chairman Pervaram Ramulu said that Rs 5 crore worth work of the Kaloji Kalak Shetram had been completed so far. He also stressed on the need for the development of Warangal Fort with at least Rs 100 crore.
