Widespread rains throughout the state

 Monsoon winds move across the state, along with the drainage in the northwest Bay of Bengal. Hyderabad has been besieged with endless rains. Inland areas have been flooded.There were heavy rains in Rangareddy and Khammam districts. Coal production was stalled in open-cast mines in Khammam district for heavy rains, and a moderate rainfall from other districts fell. In many areas the streams are overflowing. The water level in the reservoirs has increased abruptly. Flood water has been damaged by rivers.


Overall, 22.4 cm rainfall has been reported across the state. 5.5 in Hyderabad and 5 cm in Khammam district. 4.7 cm in Suryapet district, 4.6 in Medchal-Malkajgiri, 3.7 cm rain in Ranga Reddy district and 3.6 cm in Adilabad and Komuram Bhim districts. 3.5 in Mahabubabad, 3.4 in Sagareddy, 3 cm in Siddipet district, 2.8 in Nallagonda, in Medak and Yadadri in Bhubanigiri districts.The weather department said that it is possible to cross the coast between Gopalpur-Puri in Odisha coast. With this effect, the state has announced that it will hit heavy rains in the state for another 48 hours
