Telangana Joint Action Committee chairperson M. Kodandaram was inciting the youth by organising a rally of unemployed persons in Hyderabad, said Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Sunday. He also accused the retired professor of joining hands with the Opposition and hindering progress in Telangana.
Addressing a press conference before the Yadava Shankharavam public meeting at Asifabad town, Mr. Yadav said the State government was addressing the problem of unemployment by launching recruitment drives through the Public Service Commission. All vacancies would be filled in due course, he added.
Speaking about the development under the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) government led by Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, the Minister said all marginalised communities were on a path of development, and the government was formulating schemes for their upliftment.
Mr. Yadav said even the Comptroller and Auditor General praised the efforts of the government and its welfare programmes. This would go a long way in strengthening the TRS in the coming days.
Later, the Minister addressed the Shankharavam which was held to create awareness among the Yadava community of undivided Adilabad district about the supply of subsidised sheep to Golla Kurumas and Yadavas.
Housing Minister A. Indrakaran Reddy, Forest Minister Jogu Ramanna, Asifabad MLA Kova Laxmi, MLC Puranam Satish, and Yadava Sangham district president Arigela Nageshwar Rao also attended the meeting.
