HC orders Telangana govt. to submit detailed report on medical seats allotment

Wed, Aug 30 : High Court (HC) has ordered Telangana government to submit a report on the medical seats allotment, specially in B and C categories.
The court conducted hearing of nearly 20 writ petitions today, by rank holders, alleging irregularities in the allotment of seats.
Several colleges had blocked the seats, depriving rank holders, and sold them to ineligible candidates, they alleged. Parents of NCC and sports quota students too approached the court in this regard. Their cases will come up for hearing tomorrow.
