Minister Etela speaks to media over Manakondur Dalit Farmers Suicide

Mon, Sep 04 : Telangana minister, Etela Rajender, clarified to the media about the Manakondur incident, in which two Dalit farmers attempted suicide, in front of MLA Rasamayi Balakishan.
Etela said that an inquiry has been ordered and action will be taken against the culprits as soon as report comes. Stating the incident as unfortunate, he said that already the concerned official has been suspended.
The plea of the farmers for the promised land will be looked into, he said. Earlier, the Dalit farmers doused themselves with petrol and set themselves afire.
