Hyderabad: Telangana state Assembly on Friday condemned the terrorist attack on the CRPF personnel in Pulawama in Jammu and Kashmir and proposed to give Rs 25 lakh to each of the family of the martyrs.
Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao moved government resolution in the House. Chandrashekar Rao said that it was an inhumane attack and it was not only attack on the army but on the entire country. People expressed anguish over the attack unfortunately 40 members had to lose their lives for the security of the country. Rao said that there was a need to send a message that the army men were not alone, entire country is with them. Family members of army jawans should be taken care of. Each family of the martyr will get Rs 25 lakh, he said. He expressed condolence to the family members of the Jawans.
CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka supported the resolution and said that the government should take precautionary steps on the security of the country. AIMIM member Ahmed Bin Abdullah Balala condemned the attack and sought strong action against the terrorists.
“We all know there is hand of Jaish-e-Mohammad. Pakistan wants to destabilise the country with terror activities. We want government to take strict action against the perpetuators. Kashmir is integral part of India and people of Kashmir are also part of India. Students are being attacked in the country and we are falling prey to the plans of the Pakistan,” said Balala. He asked as to how 200 kg of RDX has come in spite of security.
