Sat, Sep 16 : In a first of its kind programme in the country, a veterinary care unit for livestock has been launched by the Chief Minister KCR in the state of Telangana.
A 100-strong fleet of animal mobile ambulances has been launched which will help the Yadav community (shepherds) and Golla Kurumas.
Addressing on the occasion, the chief minister said over 18,00,000 sheep had already been given away as part of the State government’s sheep distribution scheme and added that by Dasara it plans to achieve a target of distributing 20 lakh animals.
