Hyderabad hosts multi-agency exercise to counter urban flooding

Sun, Sep 24 : A multi-agency drill in the name of Pralay Sahayam was organized at Hussain Sagar in Hyderabad as per a directive of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Minister of State for Defence Subhash Bhamre was present on the occasion as a chief guest along with the Deputy Chief Minister of the state Mahmood Ali.
Pralay Sahayam constitutes the armed forces, the National Disaster Response Force, (NDRF) and many others, and the operation was conducted in Hyderabad as part of efforts to synergize relief operations in an urban flooding scenario.
