Heavy rains expected for next 3 days in Telugu states

Tue, Oct 03 : The Two Telugu states will experience moderate to heavy rains in the next three days due to depression over the Bay of Bengal, according to Indian Meteorological Department. Hyderabad has recorded heavy rainfall and rain battered the city continuously on Monday evening. The highest rainfall of 12.5 cm was recorded in Bahadurpura locality.
The GHMC officials warned city residents to be on high alert as heavy rains are expected. In Andhra Pradesh, six persons have washed away while they were crossing Kundu river at Gadigarevula village of Gadivemula mandal in Kurnool district. The Srisailam dam is receiving heavy inflows.
