KCR gives green signal for promotions in State Police department

Sat, Oct 07 : KCR has announced promotions to all eligible candidates in State Police department. As such, some 275 policemen will be promoted to non-cadre, Superintendent of Police (SPs), Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASPs) and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP).
All those who are eligible, without discrimination, have to be given promotions, KCR said. With this, even those in 1994 batch, who were waiting for promotions, will go up to the next level. At least 139 Circle Inspectors, 103 DSPs and 33 ASPs will be promoted all over the state.
