Heavy rain in Hyderabad; Nalas overflowing again

Sat, Oct 07 : Heavy rain is lashing Hyderabad city and outskirts from the past half an hour, leading to roads being waterlogged, causing traffic jams. Weather department has said that the rain is due to a cyclonic storm, Dhroni, in Bay of Bengal. It is raining heavily, in over 600 sqkm area of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC).
Nalas in several areas in the city are overflowing. Life was just getting normal, from similar rain some three days ago. GHMC has alerted monsoon teams that are working overtime, to ensure safe movement of traffic on roads. The rains will continue in this fashion, till October 15th, it is said.
