Students drown in River Godavari
Mancherial: Three youngsters were drowned in River Godavari at Godavari river bank in Hajipur mandal in Mancherial district on Sunday.Anil,Venu and Mahesh came to river to have a holy bath in the river with their family.
The youths went into the river and bathing. Suddenly water flow increased and the trio were found missing. Their family tried to save them in vain. The police launched search for the missing youth.
Mahesh and Venu were pursuing degree course and anil was a X class student, . They had gone for the swim along with one Akhil and got drowned in the swirling river waters. However, Akhil was saved by his relatives.
