New Rules assigned for land registration in AP & Telangana

Tue, Oct 24 : New Rules for land registration in AP And Telangana as per which PAN card is made mandatory for the registrations of properties worth Rs 10 lakhs and above. So far Aadhar Cards of both the seller and purchaser are needed for registrations but now PAN card is also a must. Stams & Registrations IG issued notices to Sub Registrar office to cancel all the transactions of registrations which have no PAN cards.
After demonetisation IT gave instructions to give information of any transactions more than Rs 2 lakhs. Now Registration department made PAN card a mandatory which is directly linked to IT department.
