How many seat will TDP get if TDP alliance with Congress

If dissolving the first Assembly of Telangana state is a historic development, Here is a first-of-its-kind record set by Telugu Desam Party. TDP which was formed against the Congress rule in 1982 is now all set to forge alliance with the same party after 36 years for the sake of few seats.Actually, Alliance between TDP and Congress has been confirmed few months ago. Only the discussion regarding the seat sharing has been going on as of now.

On Saturday, Chandrababu Naidu would be meeting T-TDP President L Ramana and party leaders to finalize the seats. Later, A meeting happens between Chandrababu Naidu and Uttam Kumar Reddy.Congress Leadership has decided to contest in 90 Assembly Seats. About 29 Seats will be allotted to the alliance partners. Out of them TDP gonna be offered 15 to 20 seats. Rest of the parties which extend support might receive 10 to 14 seats. TDP used to be a strong force in Telangana until few years ago but now it is fighting for existence. 

On the other hand, BJP is keen to have an alliance with Prof. Kodandaram's Telangana Jana Samithi in the next elections. Kishan Reddy met Kodandaram on Friday to discuss about the alliance.
