Renuka Chowdhury may contest from Khammam ?

Renuka Chowdhury is the congress leader is not in just state politics but also in the national politics. Maintaining good relations with Congress High Command worked in her favour all these years. She is now planning to get elected to Assembly as her Rajya Sabha term has come to an end.For next elections, Renuka Chowdhary wishes to contest from Khammam Constituency. TRS Fielded Puvvada Ajay Kumar in this Assembly Segment. It was Renuka who ensured Ajay Kumar received Congress Ticket in 2014. Now, She is getting ready to fight the battle against the same Leader whom she backed during the previous elections.

Initially, Renuka Chowdhary contemplated on contesting from Khammam Parliament Segment in 2019. Congress Party, however, wants to allot Khammam MP Seat to TDP as part of the seat sharing deal. This development prompted Renuka to focus on the Assembly Seat.
