TS: Former Congress MLA arrested in passport scam

The Market police arrested T Jayaprakash Reddy, Ex MLA of Sangareddy of Congress party on Monday, for his involvement in alleged passport scam in 2004.Jayaprakash Reddy was arrested from Pathancheru, and would be produced in the court at 11 am. Two others were arrested in the same case in the year 2007, however, they were out on bail.
He had allegedly obtained passports in the name of his wife, daughter and son from Secunderabad regional passport office, and later the affixed the photographs of other people, obtained VISA and took them to USA, police sources said.
