Officials arrested two persons with 80 kg ganja

The Commissioner's Task Force, West Zone team, apprehended two persons from Chilkalguda cross roads and seized 80 kg of ganja and two cell phones from them.The arrested were identified as B. Shiva Prasad, 23, and K. Varalaxmi alias Mariya, 22, both agriculture workers from Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, police said. Two others, Gollapalli Srinu, 50, a ganja supplier and Ramesh, were reportedly absconding.
Shiva Prasad and Varalaxmi met Gollapalli Srinu and Ramesh through their common friends and hatched a plan to supply ganja to different places in Hyderabad and Mumbai.
