NIT Warangal Organizing for Diamond Jubilee feast.

Warangal: The NIT (The National Institute of Technology), of Warangal is one of the most prestigious institutions in the country.It was in fact the first Regional Engineering College to be established in the country in 1959. 

As later improved to the status of a deemed university in 2001 and renamed as the National Institute of Technology.

From Sunday, The institute will host its year-long Diamond Jubilee celebrations. Vice-President of India M. Venkaiah Naidu launched the celebrations from the auditorium at 9.30 am.

The institute expanded from its modest beginning of offering BE programmes in three engineering disciplines to presently offering eight B.Tech programmes. There is also a PG intake of around 750 students, spread over 29 specializations of various branches of engineering, sciences and management.
