Another PIL has been moved before the Hyderabad High Court challenging the action of the Governor in dissolving the Telangana Legislative Assembly on the advice of the Cabinet. Mr Kommireddy Ramachander, an advocate of the city moved the PIL urging the court to declare the dissolution of the Telangana Assembly as unconstitutional.

He submitted that the decision to dissolve the Assembly was the personal decision of the Chief Minister and he had not sought the opinion of the Legislative Assembly before taking the decision and it was also not a collective decision of the Cabinet. He also stated that the Chief Minister himself in the public meetings and press conferences had said that some of the ministers in his cabinet were opposed to the premature dissolution of the Assembly.
