Kavitha targets Jeevan Reddy to win Jagitial seat

Nizamabad MP K Kavitha wanted the local MLA T Jeevan Reddy to tell the people of Jagitial how they joined hands with TDP.Referring to Jeevan Reddy’s earlier comments that while Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was a director, Revanth Reddy was an actor in vote-for-note case, she questioned Jeevan Reddy how could Congress join hand with them.

Kavitha participated in Aashirvada Sabha held in Jagitial on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion, she also wanted TDP president L Ramana to tell the public how he joined hand with Jeevan Reddy who had done every developmental work for his selfish ends in Jagitial constituency.

Both of them have no right to question TRS, she opined and said both Congress and TD leaders created hurdles in formation of Telangana State. Afraid of Chandrababu Naidu, Ramana did not come out of the home during the time of Telangana agitation, she added.

When he was Minister, Jeevan Reddy laid a road through the area where he and his brother had lands. Without thinking about students’ convenience, JNTU College was set up in interior Nachupalli, Kondagattu to enhance the cost of his lands. He also purchased land in the name of his brother at Nukapalli housing board by enhancing land price, she pointed out.

On the other hand, Jeevan Reddy in his election affidavit in 2009 mentioned that he had 933 square ft land worth Rs 15 lakh at Bollaram. Contrary to that, he mentioned in 2014 affidavit that he owned 8,000 square ft land at the same place. “Which one is correct? Jeevan Reddy should answer,” she said.
