Hyderabad: TRS state secretary Rup Singh on Tuesday rejected the allegations of suspended party MLC Ramulu Naik and said he was making such charges because he was denied ticket to contest from Narayankhed Assembly constituency.
Speaking to media on Tuesday, Mr Rup Singh said that Mr Ramulu Naik’s claim of having the support of the entire tribal community in the state was wrong. He said several tribal groups played an active role in the Telangana moment.
Mr Rup Singh said Mr Ramulu Naik was given the post of MLC because of TRS chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao had high respects for the leader. He said that the party suspended him for creating hurdles in the campaign of the TRS candidate at Narayankhed.
