Congress plans to bring BC leader into their party?

Suddenly one politician is much in demand these days in Telangana. He is most sought after and the Congress is running after him for support. This man was just an MLA in the outgoing Assembly but, the Congress feels, he holds key for the BC votes in Telangana. He is none other than Krishnaiah, the BC leader.Krishnaiah is the unquestioned leader of the BCs. He had always espoused the BC cause. He had never talked anything other than BC interests. In fact during the last elections, Chandrababu promoted him as the CM candidate for Telagnana. But, the party lost badly and as is his wont, Chandrababu forgot Krishnaiah. So, Krishnaiah kept a low profile and did not attend any party functions.

Now, the Congress feels that R Krishnaiah can be very useful in getting the BC voters towards the Congress. It feels Krishnaiah can help in bringing BCs towards the Congress. So, Congress biggie Jana Reddy has asked for a meeting with Krishnaiah and the meeting is likely to take place on Friday. If Krishnaiah joins hands with the Congress, the Congress will have a lot to gain. He will be useful in channelizing the anger and discontent among the BCs in Congress Party's favour.
