Hyderabad: Man committed suicide due to work stress

A 35-year-old man committed suicide allegedly due to work pressure on Friday night at his residence in Gandhinagar police station limits. The man was identified as G. Kiran Kumar, working in a private pharma company. His family members alleged that he had committed suicide due to work pressure.Gandhinagar sub-inspector U. Suresh said, “The victim came home on Friday night and slept in his bedroom. When his wife woke up around 2 am, she saw her husband hanging to the ceiling fan in the hall.”

She immediately alerted the locals, who called 108 ambulance and informed the police about the incident. The police immediately rushed to the spot and after confirming his death, shifted the body to Gandhi Hospital for postmortem.The Gandhi Nagar police has registered the case under Section 174 CrPC and further investigation is on. Meanwhile, police handed over the body to the family after a post-mortem.
