TS: Intermediate board extends exam fee payment date

The BIE has extended the last day for exam fee payment to October 31, on the back of student complaints about the functioning of its websites. Wednesday was the last day.Students said they were finding it difficult to make payments. Earlier the sites were handled by the Centre for Good Governance, but they have now been handed over to Globarena Technologies Private Limited, according to sources.

Intermediate Joint Action Committee chairman Madhusudhan Reddy said,“We welcome the decision of extending the late date of the fee payment, but the careers of lakhs of children are at stake because of the poor maintenance of websites. We don’t understand why such an important task has been given Globarena which is not experienced in handling education boards except that of JNTU.”
