Two siblings, aged six and three, who were injured after a pillar collapsed on them at a construction site at Gopanpally village in Chandanagar on Friday, died in the wee hours of Saturday.According to the police, the two sisters identified as Ammulu, 6 years, and Pravalika, 3 years, were playing at the Bella Vista villas at Gopanpally on Friday evening.
At around 7 p.m, a cement brick pillar collapsed and the children were buried under it. The family members and locals brought them out and shifted them to a private hospital and later brought them to Gandhi Hospital.They died while undergoing treatment at the Gandhi Hospital in the wee hours of Saturday.
