The Telangana Junior Doctors Association (TJUDA) have strongly condemned the statement of senior TRS leader T. Harish Rao stating that the training of RMP and PMP’s was stopped by the Opposition parties and due to that they could not be trained.TJUDA has stated that the case against unregistered medical practitioners in the state was filed by registered medical practitioners on behalf of the whole medical fraternity.

The government’s move to train non-qualified people in medical and health was not acceptable. Dr P S Vijayender, chairman of TJUDA said, “Why is the government playing with the lives of poor people? If they are so concerned why are the public health facilities not being improved in the government sector? The High Court had directed the government to establish 100 primary healthcare centres and 50 community centres.

“We want to know whether this order has been implemented. The minister must not make graduate and post-graduate medical students jobless for political gains,” he said. The angry doctors have threatened to carry out an agitation against these “irresponsible” statements against the government in the Assembly polls.
