SCR conducted 'Run for Unity' on the occasion Vallabhai Patel birth anniversary

In commemoration of the 143rd birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhai Patel, South Central Railway (SCR) observed ‘Rashtriya Ekta Divas’. On the occasion, a ‘Run for Unity’ programme was organised by SCR on Wednesday.SCR General Manager Vinod Kumar Yadav administered a unity pledge to a gathering of staff and officers and flagged off the run at Railway Nilayam at 6.30 am. The run proceeded towards Mettuguda Railway under Bridge, Sanchalan Bhavan, Hyderabad Bhavan and Sangeeth X Roads. Members of SCR Sports Association and other staff members participated in the run. 

John Thomas, additional general manager, Arjun Mundiya, principal chief mechanical engineer, GM Eswara Rao, principal chief security commissioner, and others were present on the occasion. Similar programmes were also conducted by the Vijayawada, Guntur, Guntakal, Nanded, Hyderabad and Secunderabad divisions of the zone, on the occasion of Rashtriya Ekta Divas.
