Hyderabad will be rechristened as Bhagyanagaram : BJP

Telangana BJP continues to make unbelievable and shocking poll promises ahead of the Assembly Elections. Former Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh declared Hyderabad will be rechristened as Bhagyanagaram if BJP forms the government in the youngest state. He informed about the plans to change the names of Secunderabad and Karimnagar as well.


Raja Singh recalled how Bhagyanagaram has been changed to Hyderabad after the rule of Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah began. He stressed the need for replacing the names offered by Mughals with the of Freedom Fighters. On this occasion, The Firebrand Leader pointed out UP CM Yogi Adityanath rechristening Allahabad into Prayag Raj, Faizabad into Ayodhya and Mughal Sarai Railway Station into Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay Junction. He even mentioned about Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani changing the name of Ahmedabad into Karnavati.Quli Qutb Shah is the 5th sultan of Qutb Shahi dynasty and also the founder of Hyderabad City. He was the one who built Charminar and Mecca Masjid.
