TS Polls: Owaisi appeals BJP one cow on it's election promise

Mocking the manifesto promise of the Saffron Party promising to distribute 1 lakh cows to the public, Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi appealed BJP to offer him one of them. 'If they present a cow to Me, I would take care of its sanctity,' told Owaisi.

BJP Manifesto Committee chairman NBNS Prasad declared his party would distribute 1 lakh cattle to people of Telangana if it forms the government. Gau Rakshak Ministry in BJP-ruled states has led to a serious debate in the past. Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje continued to allot hundreds of crores for the protection of Cows. Needless to say about the kind of importance UP CM Yogi Adityanath offers to cows. If the Saffron Party forms the government in Telangana, The situation will be no different from other BJP-ruled States in the country.Manifesto Promises of Telangana BJP has been severely criticized by the public and political analysts. Especially, Rs 5000 Rental Allowance which is impossible to implement. BJP will have to borrow the budget of neighbouring states to implement such promises.
