Telangana caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao addressed in Praja Ashirwada Sabha in Khanapur. He called on people to think carefully who they want to vote for. “Many people will tell you many things. Consider how you were neglected for decades by Congress and TDP and then look at the development that has taken place in the past four years under TRS. All the development and welfare programmes initiated and implemented by the TRS Government is right before your eyes,” he said.

He said that ask yourself who should be elected. Don’t get confused by claims made by Congress and TDP who did nothing for 50 years. If by chance Congress is elected, then remember, all the development TRS initiated will come to a halt,” he said.“As the person who achieved statehood for Telangana, as someone who wants to develop this State and empower people, I say this. What matters is that people should win. People should elect a system that will work for them as TRS has done. This will happen when you vote for TRS,” he said.

When you go back home, to your villages, discuss these issues. Consider the history of the parties that are asking for your votes and Congress and TDP kept everything pending for 55 years never solved problems you faced. They are now blaming TRS MLAs and MPs who have been here for only four years. Discuss all these and then decide which party is best for you, he said.“On promises by other parties of waiving farm loans of Rs 2 lakh, Chandrashehar Rao said some say they will now do this. Who has loans of such an amount? Only one or two per cent of farmers and they do not need loan waiver. We waived Rs one lakh loan earlier and we will waive loans for Rs one lakh again,” Chandrashekhar Rao said.
