TS Polls: Cast your vote and win Prizes

To increase the voting percentage in the siddipet district ,the district collector Krishna Bhaskar has announced a lucky draw wherein the winners would be awarded with a bike, scooter and mobile phones across the four Assembly constituencies in the district  In 2014, the then united Medak District Collector Smitha Sabharwal had employed a similar method to ensure a plump polling percentage. Tokens were given to the voters after they cast their votes, following which a draw was held.

Siddipet is one of those districts under the spotlight primarily because the Chief Minister and Irrigation Minister of the caretaker government will be contesting here. Officials will host lucky draws in every polling booth, especially the ones where heavy polling is expected. There would be a male and female winner in every constituency who would get a bike and a scooter respectively.

Five other winners would receive mobile phones. The collector urged the people in Siddipet, Gajwel, Dubbak and Husnabad constituencies in the district to cast their votes without fail so that district would be hailed as one of best by Election Commission.
