kodangal: TPCC Working President A Revanth Reddy calls for Kodangal bandh on December 4. High tension prevailed at Kodangal in the latenight due to police teams conducted searches in the houses of Revanth Reddy's associates in Kodangal in the latenight hours on Saturday. They have raided the houses of Yousuf(Kodangal Congress Mandal President), his supporters Ramachandra Reddy and Advocate Madhusudhan's houses.


When police reached the houses Revanth's brother Kondal Reddy Reddy and Congress party workers stopped them entering the houses and staged protest against police. When the news spread Revanth's supporters reached the search spots.


Revanth also accompanied them and staged protest against police searches. He alleged that Caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao targetting them and by misusing police conducting search operations. He said KCR was in threat of loosing elections trying to attach them physically. 


Against the searches he gave a call for Kodangal bandh on December 4. He said on Tuesday People's Front workers and leaders will demonstrate their protest in view of KCR's visit to Kodangal and fight for the justice.


Whereas police officials said they have done search operations after getting the complaint on Yousuf and others that they were distributing money to the voters. They said they were doing their duty impartially.
