HC directed police to explain on what basis Revanth Reddy was arrested

Hyderabad: Hyderabad High Court takes strong objection over arrest of Congress working president A Revanth Reddy. The court asked police to explain on what basis he was arrested.When the police said they had intelligence report the court asked them to produce it. The police reportedly told the court that do not possess the copy. Court then directed the police to submit the copy by 3.45.
When the court met again the police informed court that Revanth would be released by evening. The court is learnt to have directed that TS AG should appear before it and commented that release of Revanth Reddy will not make illegal arrest as legal.
