Lagadapati Rajagopal press meet over Telangana election survey

Hyderabad: Lagadapati Rajagopal addressed a press conference over Telangana election survey. He siad he only predicted possibility of a few independents winning and only hinted at general trend. He shared his perception and is not infallible.

When his predictions of elections two months ago, it in favour of TRS. If he were anti-TRS he would not have advised KTR the pitfalls and grey areas in his party's approach to elections, he added.

He said he does not care which party wins or which party loses the election.He maintains that he has no rivalry with KTR. He says he had never done any bogus survey and also mentions that he had never met KTR during the last five years. He met him only on September 16 at his relative's house when he requested him to do a survey.

Rajagopal said KTR gave him mail ID to send him survey reports and When I did my first survey two months ago, people's front had not been formed.

He cautioned KTR that if all opposition parties come together, going might turn difficult for TRS.

He said that he told KTR that there was anti-incumbency against 65 percent of MLAs. KTR wanted surevy on 23 constituencies and then another one on 37 more.

Lagadapati says he did not act on behalf of any party when he made poll predictions.
