Hyderabad: Rs.28.5 Lakh foreign currency seized in RGIA

Hyderabad: Officials of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) siezed foreign currency from a woman passenger at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Shamshabad here on Thursday.CISF personnel checked the bag of the passenger who was going to Sharjah and found the foreign currency worth over Rs.28.50 lakh.Officials handed over the passenger along with the seized currency to the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) for further investigation.
