VH demands 69 percent reservations to BCs

Hyderabad:  Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao (VH) demanded 69 per cent reservation to BCs in Telangana similar way to Tamil Nadu. Speaking at Gandhi Bhavan, Rao alleged that KCR has decreased the 33 per cent reservation accorded to Cs in Panchayat elections. He also questioned as how the government gives 33 per cent reservation to BCs for 53 per cent BC population. Referring to Tamil Nadu which has 69 per cent reservation to BCs, rao demanded the same in Telangana. Rao further said that KCR is preventing BCs from contesting in local body elections.
