Telangana state government chief whip Paturi Sudhakar Reddy and whip Palla Rajeswar Reddy on Monday approached. Telangana Legislative Council chairman Swamy Goud to disqualify four TRS MLCs who joined the Congress.

The petition was handed over to Mr Goud against Mr Bhoopathi Reddy, Mr Konda Murali, Mr Ramulu Naik and Mr K. Yadava Reddy. Among them, two were elected from local body's quota, one from Governor's quota and the other from MLAs quota.

After submitting the petition to Mr Goud, Mr Palla Rajeswar Reddy told the media that the four MLCs acted against the party’s constitution by moving to the Congress for their personal benefit. He said according to rules, action should be taken against these four MLCs.
