Suri Murder Case Verdict: Bhanu Kiran sentenced to jail for life term

Nampally Court in Hyderabad on Tuesday has sentenced M. Bhanu Kiran, the prime suspect in the murder of factionist Maddelacheruvu Suri alias Gangula Suryanarayana Reddy alias Suri for a life term sentence. He was also asked to pay fine for Rs 20,000. He has been sentenced the said terms for possession of firearms. Manmohan, another accused of the same case, has been sentenced for five years jail. Another four accused Subbaiah, Vamshidhar, Venkatramana, and Haribabu have been made free. Bhanu Kiran, one of the most wanted persons and a former aide of Suri, was arrested by a CID team on the outskirts of Zaheerabad town in Medak district on April 21, 2012.
