Ameerpet-Hitec city Metro line will be completed by the end of January

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad metro rail will commence its operations on Ameerpet-Hitec City route by January end. The trial runs which were initiated a few weeks ago will be continued to January along with the process of testing of signalling and telecommunications equipment. The metro operations will begin over the line after getting a final nod from Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS).

While the construction work at the line has been completed at viaduct and stations, the works at entry and exit are yet to be completed. The HMR has also taken up the construction works at ground-level. On the first anniversary of the metro, the officials took the metro ride from Ameerpet to Hitec City during the trial run to learn the performance of the train and take note of the critical parameters.
