Sun Pariwar scam: 5 people held from three districts

Hyderabad: Economic Offences Wing of Cyberabad police commissioner arrested five persons from three districts in Telangana, for taking part in the scam run by Sun Pariwar company which was run by a government teacher and cheated the  public. 


The EOW sleuths who were probing the case of cheating by Sun Pariwar group of companies, had earlier arrested its CEO Methuku Ravinder, a teacher at Upper Primary School in Siddipet and his associate P. Mounika under sections 420 of IPC and section 5 of Andhra Pradesh Protection of Depositors of Financial Establishments Act, booked at Shameerpet police station.


Following the probe, the sleuths on Monday arrested K. Srinivas (21), S.Vijay Bhaskar (27) and J. Charan Teja (29), of Gajwel in Siddipet district, and T. Rajendra Prasad (37) of Nagireddypally in Sangareddy district and A.  Kishore (30) of Maktha Bhoopathipoor in Medak district, for promoting the schemes of the company and also making the public join the schemes. The accused were produced before a court for judicial remand.
