Will Congress go with the alliance in Telangana LS Polls ?

Hyderabad: Ahead of the Lok Sabha Polls, the Telangana Congress is still to decide on its alliance and make any official statements regarding the same. Though the Congress will be contesting the upcoming Panchayat elections alone and not on a party basis, Congress seems to show no signs of discussing their alliances during a recent AICC leadership meeting held in New Delhi.

Telangana AICC in charge R.C. Khuntia and TPCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy were present at the meeting and only seemed to be interested in discussing a plan for panchayat and Parliament polls. Mr. Khuntia said “As of now alliance exists and we never disassociated from the alliance,” without mentioning whether or not they will continue for Parliament elections.
