Congress suspended Sarvey Sathyanarayana from the party

Hyderabad: Congress leader and former union minister Sarvey Sathyanarayana has been suspended by the party disciplinary committee on the high command order. Sathyanarayana has been suspended from the party after he allegedly tossed a water bottle at TPCC chief secretary Bollu Kishan. Sarvey also made a scathing attack on Telangana Congress in charge RC Kuntia and TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy in a two-day review meeting held at Gandhi Bhavan.
Sarvey blamed Uttam and Kuntia for Congress party's defeat in the elections and also demanded the high command to remove Uttam from his post as he is according key positions to the candidates who are actually not eligible for it.
