Hyderabad city police conducted A family get-together

A family get-together was organised by the Hyderabad city police for the families of police personnel working with various teams of its Detective Department.

Around 250 persons including a large number of children turned up along with their parents to understand the police functioning and the office set-up.Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar and Additional Commissioner (Crimes) Shikha Goel interacted with the children and briefed them about various technologies adopted by the police for crime detection and prevention.

Anjani Kumar told the media that the programme was meant to help the families of policemen understand the department better. It was a sort of interactive programme between the department and the families of police personnel who devote their time and energy to ensure a safe society. He said several children who attended the programme were motivated by the police and intend to become IPS officers when they grow up.
