20-Year-old lady dies while participating in Constable events test

Karimangar: A constable aspirant, Mamatha (20) died of a possible heart stroke while participating in running race as part of police selection at police training center in Karimangar on Monday morning. Mamatha, a native of Velichala of Ramadugu mandal, collapsed after finishing her 100 meter event. Alert police personnel immediately shifted her to district headquarters hospital where she breathed her last while undergoing treatment.
After coming to about the incident, Commissioner of police, VB Kamalasan Reddy visited the hospital. Deceased’s father Sampath is an autoriksha driver. He has three daughters. Mamatha is elder one.
