Application for admission into gurukul schools started

Hyderabad: The Applications have been invited from the eligible candidates for the admission into Class 5 in 616 gurukul schools in Telangana. A notification with respect to the exam has been released to fill up 49, 280 seats. The application process begins from February 18.

In the academic year 2019-20, around 119 gurukul schools will be added up to 497 existing SC, ST and BC welfare schools. Candidates have to register themselves at the official site with an examination fee of Rs 100. The government has enhanced the fee from Rs 50 to Rs 100 this year. The notification was released only for SC, ST and BC candidates. However, another notification will be released for the minority students.
