TS: Notification released for 5 MLC seats

Hyderabad: An election notification has been issued for the conduct of elections for five MLC seats under MLA quota on Thursday. The nominations will be invited from today and the last date for filing the papers is March 1. However, the nominations can be withdrawn till March 5. The election will be held on March 12 and the results will be announced on the same day. The elections are being held as the tenure of the MLCs Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy, Shabbir Ali, T Santosh Kumar and Mohammed Saleem is coming to an end.
